On 1 November 2018 Datamax welcomed all Made to Measure users into our family.  In fact, Datamax has been providing switching services to Made to Measure users for over 20 years, so (in a sense) most users were already in our family.  To read the full acquistion announcement click here .

Datamax has committed to support existing Made to Measure users, but it obviously does not make economic sense to sell two competing products.  The natural upgrade path for Made to Measure users is, therefore, to Panacea.

Panacea is able to convert your data from both Made to Measure Professional and Synergy.  This means that you can move onto Panacea with the minimum of hassle.

Change of pricing model
A few Made to Measure users have said that they liked the fact that they did not have to pay a monthly licence fee.  However, this pricing model has proved to be unsustainable and is not followed by any of the mainstream software vendors in our industry.  It is also misleading to think that it is cheaper because it does not include support and software upgrades.  Panacea users pay a monthly licence fee which includes support and software upgrades.  Note too, that you get a lot more for your money.

Good reaons to upgrade from Made to Measure to Panacea
Panacea has a lot of features that were not available in Made to Measure. Many of these are provided free of charge. Here is a list of good reasons to upgrade to Panacea:
